What You Need
- Press-on nail set
- Sticky tabs (included with every Emily’s Nail set)
- Cuticle stick
- Nail file
- Alcohol pad
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Prep Your Cuticles
Gently push back your cuticles with a cuticle stick. This creates a clean surface for a seamless fit.
2. Lightly Buff the Nail Surface
Buff each natural nail to remove surface shine.
A matte surface helps the sticky tabs adhere better.
3. Clean with an Alcohol Pad
Wipe away oils, dust, and residue to ensure long-lasting adhesion.
4. Select the Right Tab Size
Match each nail to a sticky tab that covers the nail perfectly without touching the skin.
5. Apply the Sticky Tabs
Place the tab onto the natural nail and press it down firmly.
6. Remove the Protective Film
Peel off the clear layer on top of the sticky tab.
7. Position the Press-On Tip
Hold the nail tip at a forty-five-degree angle, about two millimeters above the cuticle.
8. Slide for a Smooth Fit
Gently slide the press-on forward and backward two to three times to help the back edge align naturally with the cuticle.
9. Press and Secure
Lower the nail tip onto the sticky tab at a forty-five-degree angle, then press firmly toward the cuticle until it fits seamlessly.
10. Hold for Thirty Seconds
Apply consistent pressure to ensure a strong, even bond.
Your application is now complete.
Aftercare Tips
- Avoid water for one hour after application.
- Press around the edges again if needed.
- For short-term wear or events, sticky tabs provide the ideal combination of comfort and flexibility.
- Perfect for reusable wear—just replace the tabs each time.
Removal
Soak your nails in warm water for several minutes.
Use a cuticle stick to gently lift the edges.
